4-H STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics

TEENS, SAY “YES” TO SCIENCE!
High School students and interested adults are invited to join the Solano County 4-H STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program. This is an opportunity for you to engage in community service, learn new skills, experience teaching firsthand, and have lots of fun. You will be trained to teach science to elementary-aged children in after-school programs in teams of two to four high school students.

The 2020-2021 4-H program fees are $80.00 and must be paid in advance of the training. Enrollment in California 4HOnline must also be complete.
If you are not a current 4-H member, you must complete enrollment before the first night of training and bring with you a print out of your Youth Health Form.
4-H Youth Member Enrollment Process
The following form must be completed in order to enroll in the 4-H program, required annually - Complete 4HOnline enrollment.
PAYMENT - The following payment is required to enroll in the 4-H program.
County 4-H Program Fees (Non-refundable) $ 60.00 per youth
State 4-H Accident/Sickness Insurance and Program Fees (Non-refundable) $ 20.00 per youth
Total $ 80.00 per youth
Payment options, AFTER completing 4HOnline enrollment:
- Preferred option: Online with a credit card at 2020-2021 Solano 4-H Enrollment Online Credit Card Payment Form
- Check: Made payable to UC Regents & mailed to the county office. See address below.
- Cash: Exact amount/change only. Contact 4-H staff to make an appointment to submit payment.
- If paying by check or cash (EXACT amount/change) please include the Family Registry form PDF Fill-in.

*Solano County 4-H offers scholarships for youth not able to afford program fees. If you need a scholarship, & meet the qualifications, please complete the 2020-21 Solano County 4-H Program Fee Scholarship Request and submit the form.
After all steps have been completed, the 4-H YDP staff must confirm your enrollment.
