Are you interested in medicine, health, veterinary sciences, communications, civic engagement, or marketing? We have a 4-H project for you!

This project is designed for 4-H members that are at least 12 years old.  There are 8 lessons.

What will you do?  The 4-H Disease Detectives Project will help you learn about disease outbreaks in animals, virus transmission, public health investigations, and how protective actions like hand washing, social distancing, vaccinations, and herd immunity help manage negative health outcomes.

When you attend at least six hours of project meetings you will receive a STEM Project Pin!

If you are interested in the in-person project meetings, please RSVP to Haydee Morales at hmorales@ucanr.edu.

If the in-person dates and times don't fit into your schedule, click here to jump to the 4-H Virtual Programming Resources and scroll down to 'Health' for the 4-H Junior Disease Detectives Project virtual information and registration.  Registration deadline is Monday, April 18.

High School students and interested adults are invited to join the Solano County 4-H STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program.  This is an opportunity for you to engage in community service, learn new skills, experience teaching firsthand, and have lots of fun.  You will be trained to teach science to elementary-aged children in after-school programs in teams of two to four high school students.
